Since the advent of ChatGPT, Generative AI has emerged as a mainstream tool in the corporate world, transforming how organizations enhance productivity and learning, and in many cases, becoming a game changer. Moreover, effective governance and management of Generative AI are essential to ensure its responsible use.
This Advanced Certificate is tailored for non-technical professionals, particularly those from SMEs, who have domain expertise but lack programming skills. It is designed for individuals interested in using prompt engineering techniques to develop Generative AI tools and chatbots for specific use cases, with the ability to deploy these applications either internally or to clients.
Each module offers frameworks and guidance for responsible AI practices, grounded in the latest ISO standards and technical reviews. This includes ISO 5338/9, which outlines AI system life cycle processes and guidance for AI applications, and ISO 8183, which identifies the stages and corresponding actions for data processing throughout the AI system life cycle.

+ ASSESSMENTS
As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion issued by Singapore Management University.

+ CERTIFICATION
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment for each of the 6 modules within 3 years in order to be awarded the digital Advanced Certificate in Generative Artificial Intelligence Apps Design and Prompt Engineering issued by Singapore Management University.
